The systems are designed to be quick and easy to use, with drop-down selections, tick boxes and calendars for entering dates. Key information is highlighted in red and validated at entry time to ensure patient information is kept as accurate and complete as possible.

PMAS Pancreas is for surgeons specialising in the management of
pancreatic cancer.

Typical data collected for each patient with pancreatic cancer is:
- Personal: name, hospital number, NHS number, demographics, date of birth, sex, GP etc
- Admission: referral details, diagnoses, tumour site, ASA grade, patient history of co-existing disease, genetic history & family cancer, results of investigations, laparoscopic findings, blood values, metastatic disease, stent details and planned treatment
- Surgery: hospital, surgeon, surgeon grade, anaesthetist, assistants, type of resection, other procedures, type of bypass, reconstruction, operation details, oncology etc
- 30 day audit: all surgical complications, readmission, re-operation, number of days in hospital, date discharged or details and date of post-operative death
- Pathology: morphology, metastases, invasion, nodes and staging details
- P-Possum: pre-operative and operative values and score
- Follow-up: for each follow-up visit: date, evidence of recurrence, readmission, re-intervention, details of death with date
PMAS Pancreas includes the standard range of reports and audits as well as:
- AUGIS dataset for each selected patient, display, print or export the specific information required by the AUGIS minimum dataset
